The top three provinces with the most IT vacancies in Canada are Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia with 8,833, 5,065 and 2,630 vacancies respectively. Alberta comes in fourth place with 1,441 vacancies and Saskatchewan and New Brunswick follow with a mere 294 and 256 vacancies. The provinces which have the least amount of IT vacancies are Prince Edward Island, Yukon, Northwestern Territories and Nunavut. This can mostly be explained due to the lack of technological advances within these provinces.

In second place came Toronto in Ontario with a total of 1,719 vacancies, Greater Vancouver in British Columbia with a total of 1,532 vacancies as well as Montreal, Québec in fourth place with a total of 1,220 vacancies.
