Cambridge is a city in southern Ontario that is located in the region of Waterloo. It is a quaint and historic city with a charming downtown area and its streets are lined with large, old homes and majestic trees. Cambridge also lies at the junction of two rivers, the Grand River and the Speed River, which adds to this cities small town charm.
Many people that live in Cambridge either work in Cambridge itself in some of the large manufacturing and industrial plants found here or they commute to nearby Waterloo, Guelph or Kitchener to work. Some of the larger employers in Cambridge are Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, Loblaw Companies Limited, Frito-Lay Canada and Northstar Aerospace.
Cambridge is a town of festivals. Many Torontonians come here every year to experience some of these great outdoor events. The Cambridge Highland Games is a festival that celebrates Scottish culture while both the Mill Race Festival and the Rock the Mill Festival are two popular music festivals in Cambridge.
