Successful candidate will be able to work independently in a fast paced environment while maintaining focus on customer development and sales growth.This position offers the right candidate an opportunity to join a great team with a strong company, supporting a variety of operational departments.
This position will include various tasks including, but is not limited to:
Providing quotes as requested by customers New customer setup & maintenance, including running credit reference checks New item setup & maintenance of existing data Sales Order Entry and release of blanket orders Return processing; related to Customers and Vendors Processing vendor confirmations and editing corresponding sales order data Transaction entries of various types Accounts Receivable, cash receipts - including credit card payment processing Cross training for various positions in the company **Perform other office duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications:
Previous experience handling office responsibilities or experience in customer service preferred but not required Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel) Highly organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-directed and able to work without supervision Solid time management skills; able to prioritize
