Personal Support Worker/Caregiver

Home Care Assistance Mississauga is currently hiring Caregivers and PSWs who have good interpersonal skills and a good command of the English language.

Job Description: Caregivers and PSWs in the Mississauga, Oakville region whose main responsibilities will contribute to managing activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain the autonomy of clients. Applicants of interest will work primarily with the elderly in autonomous, semi-autonomous and total care conditions.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist clients with the personal care tasks of daily living, including skincare, haircare, mouth care, bathing, bowel and bladder care, positioning and movement, basic wound care, feeding (including special diets)
• Assist with ambulating and mobilization of the patient
• Perform other related housekeeping tasks as indicated in the individualized written client service plan.
