Accountant CPA (Remote)

Fletcher Group Automation is seeking a fully remote Accountant to join our team! You will be working with our senior accounting staff and bookkeepers.

• Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance
• Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries
• Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
• Perform Accounts Payable function for a subset of company accounts
• Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of reconciling month end balance sheet accounts
• Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management
• Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation
• Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested
• Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, and payroll, intercompany
• Prepare and submit reports
• Ensure accuracy of financial transactions
• Co-ordinate, assign and review work
