Le Centre de santé Tulattavik de L’Ungava est situé à Kuujjuaq. Il dispense l’ensemble des services de santé et services sociaux dans la partie est du Nunavik. Il dessert sept communautés Inuites avec autant de CLSC, un centre pour personnes âgées et un centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq. Il emploie environ 1,000 employés : administrateurs, professionnels, médecins, dentistes, psychologues, infirmiers, travailleurs sociaux, personnel de soutien, employés occasionnels, etc.

Les communautés du Nunavik sont situées au nord du 55e parallèle où prévaut un climat subarctique. Il entraîne l’existence d’un pergélisol et ne permet aucune agriculture. Le Nunavik est la plus grande région couvrant environ le tiers de la superficie globale du Québec. Aucune liaison routière n’existe entre les communautés du Nunavik et le Québec méridional, ni entre les communautés du Nunavik elles-mêmes. On a accès à cette région et à ses communautés que par avion et par bateau.

Fonctions :

Participe aux activités reliées à la prestation des soins pharmaceutiques pour le volet communautaire de la population de Kuujjuaq, pour le centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq et pour les six dispensaires de la côte de la Baie d’Ungava : contrôle de la distribution et de l’utilisation des médicaments, suivi et ajustement de l’anticoagulothérapie, enseignement au personnel infirmier, activités du comité de pharmacologie.

L’équipe de travail est composée de 3 pharmaciens à temps complet et de 5 assistantes technique.

Horaire de travail :
Quart de jour (8 h/jour) du lundi au vendredi avec service de garde sur rotation soir/nuit/fin de semaine.

Membre en règle de l’Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec;
Connaissance du système Assyst Rx;
Diplôme de 2e cycle, maîtrise en pharmacie d’hôpital serait un atout majeur;
Expérience de gestion de pharmacie serait un atout majeur;
Bilinguisme essentiel parlé et écrit (anglais – français);
Facilité d’adaptation et aptitude à travailler en équipe multidisciplinaire, bon sens des responsabilités.

Salaire : 122,850.00$ / année
Prime d’éloignement : 203.66$/semaine ou plus selon le statut familial
Prime de vie chère : 61.16$/semaine ou plus selon le statut familial
Prime recrutement/maintien emploi: 45%
Prime incitative 40h/semaine : 6%
Prime attraction et rétention : entre 4% et 7.4% selon l’échelon salarial

The Ungava Tulattavik Health Center is located in Kuujjuaq and offers the whole health and social services in the eastern part of Nunavik. Serving seven Inuit communities with an equal number of CLSC, a center for the elderly and the hospital in Kuujjuaq, it employs approximately 1,000 employees: administrators, professionals, doctors, dentists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, support staff, etc.

Nunavik communities are located north of the 55th parallel where a subarctic climate prevails. It implies the existence of permafrost allowing no agriculture. Nunavik is the largest region covering about a third of the total area of Quebec. No road link exists between the communities of Nunavik and southern Quebec, and between Nunavik communities themselves. We have access to the region and its communities by air travel and by boat.

Description:
Participate in activities related to the provision of pharmaceutical cares for the community aspect of the population of Kuujjuaq, for the Hospital in Kuujjuaq and for the six clinics (CLSC) of the Ungava Bay : control of the distribution and the use of drugs, monitoring and adjustment of the anticoagulant therapy, teaching nursing staff, pharmacology committee activities. The work team consists of three full-time pharmacists and 5 technical assistants.

Work schedule:
Day shift (8 hrs/day) from Monday to Friday with on-call rotation evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications:

Member in good standing of the l’Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec;
Knowledge of Assyst Rx;
Second Cycle Diploma, Master's Degree in Hospital Pharmacy would be an asset;
Experience in pharmacy administration would be an asset;
Bilingualism spoken and written (English - French);
Ability to adapt and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, sense of responsibility.

Conditions:

Salary and benefits according to the Agreement signed between the APES and the MSSS:

Salary: 122,850.00$ / a year
Isolation premium: 203.66$ per week
High cost of living premium: 61.16$ per week
Recruitment/retention premium: 45%
Incentive 40h/week premium: 6%
Attraction and Retention premium: between 4% and 7.4% as per the salary scale
