ABOUT THE ROLE:
TPD and Fraserway RV are looking to add a number of highly skilled individuals to the RV service teams across Canada as Service Technicians. If you are a Red Seal Certified professional and are looking for a rewarding career, this may be the right place for you. Our Service Technicians work hand in hand with our Apprentices to troubleshoot and repair both our rental fleet and servicing of purchased RVs.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
Troubleshooting and diagnosing RV's requiring repair and maintenance
Repairing and maintenance work on propane gas and electrical appliances
Completing all paperwork and record documentation of all repairs
Customer service and any other duties pertaining to the Service Technician role
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Red Seal Certification
RV or Automotive Maintenance experience required
RV & Trailer Repairs an asset
Good diagnostic skills
Experience with Plumbing, Carpentry, and Electrical (Automotive or Industrial)
Experience with vehicle hitch and wiring
Level 1 RV Certificate and Experience in RV & Trailers would be an asset
Dedication to cooperative team dynamics; commitment to customer satisfaction, enjoys working with people from all levels of the company
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and a good attitude
Experience in general house renovation
Occasional lifting of items up to 50 Lbs.
