• Lead the demand Forecasting process for the Canadian entities at a national level
• Develop bottom-up forecasting models for each key account
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Lead pre consensus with account managers and consensus meetings with commercial to align forecast at a national level
• Lead the monthly S&OP meeting presenting to the larger organization
• Track and record Drug Shortages in the marketplace and asses the impact on the Company forecast
• Develop relationships with the internal sales team to get customer information to build a robust forecast
• Lead the weekly allocation meeting to discuss changes in supply positions and strategies based on demand
• Act as face of the supply chain to external customers including working with external customers on supply issues, allocation, and forecast changes
• Track customer DC level inventory on a weekly and monthly basis
• Work is measured against key Supply Chain metrics including:
• Forecasting Accuracy
• Customer Service Levels
• Finished goods write offs
• Work on various projects across the supply chain as requested
Job Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years experience in Supply Chain management; experience in forecasting and demand planning an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field •
Exposure to pharmaceutical or consumer products industry
• Solid computer skills; SAP or rapid response an asset
