Qualifications: Education : Degree or diploma in business, supply chain, science or engineering or; Experience in lieu of formal education is accepted - at least 5 years of supply chain experience within the Shipbuilding industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years of supply chain procurement experience within the shipbuilding industry Previous experience with New Build Shipbuilding is preferred The following Supply Chain accreditations would be considered an asset: SCMP, MCIPS or ISM Previous experience with New Build Shipbuilding is preferred Demonstrated organizational and time management skills Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks Strong analytical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High attention to detail Previous exposure to market analytics and insights Fluency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of industry wide Project Controls systems All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Responsibilities: Supplier management including: Develop and improve supplier quality, cost, and delivery performance Issue POs for material Contract management including: Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements Execution of negotiated contract through ISI's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) & MRP (Material Resource Planning) systems.
