General Labor - Brampton Plant (no students please)

We have urgent requirements for full time General Labor Plant Operations in Brampton that pays $16.89 / hr.

Benefits start at 3 months and pension after 1yr. In 24 months, the pay will progress to $20.42.

- Able to work in a shift starting 3.30pm up to 12 midnight.

JOB DETAILS

Job Title: General Labor

OVERVIEW:

Maple Lodge Farms is looking for permanent employees to join the team! We are hiring full-time permanent employees for our Wiener Plant in our "stuffing and peeler" areas.

The following shifts are available:

1) Stuffing PM @ 3:30 pm - 12:00 am <- includes an extra shift premium of 55 cents

Starting rate of $16.34 per hour, with a 24-month progression to $20.42 per hour.

Shifts that start after 2:00pm are entitled to an extra shift premium of 55 cents each hour worked

Benefits at 3 months and a pension plan after 1 year of service.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

Our Wiener plant is where we make our chicken hot dogs.

Duties include:
• Mixing ingredients
• Loading of ovens
• Lifting 15 kilos repetitively
• Running equipment
• Keeping a clean work space

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,EXPERIENCE
• Ability for heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and some bending
• Ability to multi task
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Previous factory experience not required

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Cold & wet environment
• Loud environment with lots of machinery
• Fast paced work
