What we are looking for

At Dealer-FX, we put our users first. The automotive landscape and world are constantly changing, so we need a Full Stack Developer for our Data Solutions who is continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect thousands of people daily.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and enhancement of a SaaS data solution. You will create new application functionality and improve on existing web and back-end applications.

Working closely with various teams and senior management, you will develop and maintain system documents, create automated testing capability for new and existing applications and develop RESTful API-based services using ASP.NET Core Web API (MVC). You will also engage in the full-cycle development process from design to the development, test, release, and maintenance of applications.

• Become a subject matter expert in data cleansing and ingestion code
• Contribute to the Future State roadmap by bringing to the table ideas that may require the refactoring of existing code or the introduction of new technologies.
• Be responsible for supporting production-related incidents that occur on the platform with a focus on the loading, parsing, cleansing, and loading of data.
• Participate in walkthrough reviews of all technical design, specifications, programs, and unit test plans
• Assist the DevOps/support teams in various activities, such as troubleshooting high-priority implementation issues, production investigations, etc.
• Define well-thought-out design patterns and code with an emphasis on quality, simplicity, maintainability, and performance.
• Contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of your commitments.

• 5+ years of work experience in software development with a focus on data solutions
• Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, and RabbitMQ
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Strong understanding of .NET WebAPI, RESTful APIs development
• Experience with C# and Async technologies
• Knowledge of AWS technologies (e.g., Redshift, Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch)
• Knowledge of Microservices/ Terraform / CI/CD Pipeline
• Knowledge of SOAP services integration
• Experience using service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Web Service Development
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Database structures and design
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working with agile scrum methodology

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related major: Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, physics, mathematics, or other engineering experience, thorough evidence of performing data analysis and delivering quality results
• Experience with Python
• Working knowledge of enterprise data management tools (i.e., Apache Nifi, DBT, Talend, Etc.)
• Framework/Library experience (Angular or similar, e.g., Vue.js, React)
• Knowledge of data visualization software (i.e., Tableau, PowerBI or Qlik) an asset.
