SUBWAY DOWNTOWN (YELLOWKNIFE) is in need of Food Service Supervisor
NOC CODE: 6311
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time - Permanent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise and coordinate activities and schedules of staff
2. Train and guide staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
3. Receive stocks and do weekly inventory
4. Balance cash and complete sheets, cash reports, reconciliation and related forms.
5. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage of the store
6. Conduct recruitment activities, payroll and trainings (sanitation & safety procedures)
WORKING HOURS: 8 hours/day between 7AM to 10PM, 40 hours per week, 2 varied days off per week
WAGE/BENEFITS: $17.00/hour, vacation pay (4% of wages) after 3 months of probationary employment
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school is required
2. Work Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory work experience in food service is required
3. Excellent customer service skill is required
