We are looking for a permanent torch cutter to join our projects team. This person must be willing and able to work in remote areas, at the company's expense on job sites throughout AB & BC when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Burner/Torch cutter will be required to Torch\cut ferrous material into proper shipping dimensions. This will include but is not limited to the following:
- Torching plate material, pipe, I beam, H beam, cable, and oversize equipment.
- Side walls
- Work will be performed out doors in all seasons (extreme cold, extreme heat) dependent.
- Records activities as required by Management
- Keeps work area clean
- Observes and reports any safety issues
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be able to pass a drug test and background checkWilling to work on call, flexible schedules and project specific jobsMust be able to work quickly and safelyAbility to write simple correspondenceBenefits
