HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER The Opportunity: We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team at Irving Pulp and Paper, based in Saint John, New Brunswick. As the Human Resources Manager, you are a key strategic partner, reporting to the Director, Human Resources of the Pulp & Paper Division and working with the Pulp & Paper leadership team. You will be responsible for leading the labour relations functions and the development and implementation of HR policies and programs. The Human Resources Manager will proactively cultivate and promote best practice human resources management while providing day to day operational advice, consultation, and support in the areas of recruitment, performance management, coaching and employee engagement. Your practical and hands on approach allows you to contribute to the operational and organizational success of the company. You are exceptional at influencing and communicating, easily building relationships and promoting teamwork from the front line to the leadership team. We operate four Pulp and Paper Mills out of Saint John and St. George, New Brunswick that produce a combined 1 Million Tonnes of Product and employ over 1000 employees.You Have: Education Required: Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Human Resources preferred 5 Years' of demonstrated experience in a Human Resources role A CPHR designation considered an asset Labour Relations experience is considered an asset Curious, strategic mindset with the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects Self-starter with a sense of urgency, detail-oriented and good analytical skills Experience administering the collective agreement and leading labour relations functions Experience advising on strategic labour relations, negotiation, and HR Policies issues Expertise in providing hands-on support to employees and managers in a broad range of HR functions including Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Training and Development, etc. Implement a wide variety of Human Resources project and initiatives and ensure alignment through our business Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
