Come join our Customer Service team in Brantford! Lakeland is actively recruiting for a Distribution Associate. The ideal candidate is an experienced warehouse employee who is motivated, detail oriented and skilled in distribution responsibilities who is willing and able to safely perform multiple functions including picking, shipping, receiving, packing, unloading, inventory and supporting the overall business regarding product logistics and general operations.

What will you do?

• Shipping and Receiving
• Picking and packing as required.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and controls.
• Merchandise organization and execution of order fulfillment
• Actively pursue opportunities to improve shipment accuracy and order processing efficiency.
• Understand existing warehouse layout and product plans and pursue continuous improvements where possible.
• Maintain a professional workplace environment which is clean, open, pleasant, and conducive to a high level of productivity.
• Other general warehouse and administrative duties as required.

What will you need to succeed?

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to problem solve, make decisions, multi-task and prioritize
• Experience with inventory management
• Organization skills
• Fork Lift Certification
• Reliable transportation
